“When I first started thinking about my dress, I didn’t quite know where to begin - nothing I saw really appealed to me or felt like my style. On top of that, we decided to plan our wedding in just three months, and I was worried I wouldn’t find anything in time. Joyfully, I was also pregnant and would be six months along by the time we got married. I assumed that would really limit what I could wear.

A friend sent me Coco’s website, and I immediately fell in love with her beautiful, timeless, and classic designs. I booked an appointment right away. “Coco made the most beautiful and 'me' dress I could have ever imagined. I felt completely comfortable, confident and like myself, not dressed up as 'the bride'. I think this is a huge part of Coco's skill: her designs and way of working bring out you. 

Having a made-to-measure dress that I could customise and was crafted by hand with such care in Coco's Covent Garden studio, felt incredibly special. Every appointment was relaxed and joyful. Coco was meticulous in altering the dress so it fit perfectly. The dress and veil Coco designed also complemented eachother so well. 

There are so many wonderful details on my dress that Coco put such care into: from embroidering our names and the dates of the wedding onto the hem of my dress as my 'something blue', making the shape of the skirt a little looser so I could move more freely, stitching a claddagh ring gifted by my grandmother onto the collar of the dress, extra flowers on my veil for maximum impact and adding a line of buttons down the back of my dress. 

I also loved how the Clementine dress almost worked as two dresses through opening the key-hole collar. It was formal enough for the church but fluid enough for dinner and dancing on the beach. I got married on a hot day in the south of france: I was very grateful for Coco's use of light weight natural fabrics. One of my favourite aspects of the design is that I will be able to wear it again for years to come: it's a dress that will have an after life beyond our wedding. 

Working with Coco was my favourite part of wedding planning. I couldn’t recommend her more highly to any future brides”
